The Tachikara® Volley-Lite colored volleyball offers a regulation with a special lighter weight that aid the novice player without the fear heavy ball impact. It's the same light ball that teams age 12 & under use. Best ball I ever purchased. No sting! My daughter started volleyball with this type of ball. Very soft on the forearms and easy to get over the net. A great indoor ball. I can't believe that a company would knownigly ship a product that was defective. This ball was coming apart at almost every seam. Tachikara volley-lite is a great ball to use for people who want to learn how to play volleyball. New machine sewn construction This is a GREAT volleyball. For those who complain about the ball hurting their hands, this will silence them big time. This ball plays well, is durable, and comes in fun colors. Competition players may prefer a regulation ball, but for recreation this ball is wonderful.
